| The HRL Morrison Music Trust |
The HRL Morrison Music Trust (formally the Morrison & Co Music Trust) was established in March 1995 as a charitable trust to support New Zealand musicians of international calibre. All funds received by the Trust are used to make recordings, present concerts - both in New Zealand and overseas - and assist artists to undertake projects to further develop their talents.
The first recording issued by the Trust was a three-CD set of the middle period piano sonatas of Beethoven performed by Michael Houstoun (MMT2001-2003), which won the 1995 Recording Industry Association of New Zealand's Classical Award.
Although the Trust is a charitable trust it is not a funding body and generally does not make grants to organisations or individuals.
