A Christmas album with a difference has been recorded by the NZSO. A delightful programme of Christmas-themed works by Classical and Baroque composers includes some well-known favourites (from Handel's Messiah and Bach's Christmas Oratorio) as well as music by Michael Haydn, Lalande, Manfredini, Valentini, Ferrandini, Torelli and Stamitz.
